About Me

My name is Kimberly Joseph, I am a senior at Florida International University. I am an honors college student majoring in Psychology and Liberal Studies on a pre-physician assistant track.

I started my academic journey when I wentI a to Barry University for a brief time. I then transferred to Broward College to obtained my Associates of Arts in Chemistry. After obtaining my Associates of Arts degree, I transferred to Florida International University and got accepted into the Honors college I learned about diversity, engagement opportunities, and community involvement. Being a global medallion student has shown me the global awareness and perspective in the world around us. I hope to be able to apply my experiences into my future endeavors.

I aspire to work in the medical field as I believe the importance having having adequate and quality healthcare experience. I wish to work with underserved and underrepresented community as they are not provided quality healthcare due to not having access to health insurance or having a language barrier. I wish to make a difference in the lives of others and inspire every those I meet. I enjoy spending time with my daughter, practicing meditation, cooking cultural cuisines, outdoor activities, and yoga. I felt a deep passion about different cultures and learning more about the Haitian culture and traditions. That is why I pursued a certificate in Haitian Studies and took many global learning courses.
